Shipping & Returns


We want to make your shopping experience as simple as possible, so our shipping methods and policies have been designed to get your order to you as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Please make sure you enter your shipping address correctly as once it has been dispatched we cannot take any responsibility for lost packages should the wrong details be given. 

Please note we endeavour to ship your goods within 24 hours of receiving your order. We do not ship on weekends or on public holidays, so any orders placed on a Friday afternoon/Saturday/Sunday will go out the following Monday. Please note during high peak times (sale time) we endeavour to get orders out within 3-5 working days. Confirmation of your items being shipped, will be sent to you via email. It will include tracking details on all tracked orders for you to follow the package's journey!

Once your items have been shipped, they become your property and responsibility. If a product arrives damaged, or is misplaced, it is your responsibility to liaise with New Zealand Post or the shipping agent responsible. No refunds or replacements will be given for products missing or damaged in transit. We will however provide you with all the necessary information to make your claim. 


  • FREE SHIPPING on all NZ orders over $100! To qualify for free shipping you must spend $100 or more in a single transaction after discounts are applied.
  • Orders under $99 are charged at a flat rate of $8.00 throughout NZ
  • Orders are shipped using Courier post/Poste haste
  • Local delivery from Christchurch is overnight
  • For all urban areas delivery will take approximately two to three working days

  • Flat rate shipping to Australis is $18 (please note this is a non tracked option)
  • We also offer tracked shipping to Australia for $28 ( please note this excludes bulky items) If you have purchased a bulky item we will contact you in regards to this.
  • Please note Arch + Bear has no control over any customs or import duties that could be levied when the package reaches your destination, for which you will be liable for.



  • For international orders, please allow 7-21 business days for delivery on stocked items. Certain destinations may take longer.

We want you to feel confident when purchasing online from Arch + Bear and feel satisfied with your purchases. So please contact us @ with any questions you may have around products, sizing, or anything else prior to making a purchase, as we are more than happy to help in any way we can.

If for any reason an item is not what you expected, the wrong colour or size or you are unhappy with it in anyway, it can be returned for an exchange or credit note (excluding shipping costs) provided that it is as new and in saleable condition.

Arch + Bear does not offer returns or exchanges on sale items.

The following conditions must be met for your product to be eligible for an exchange or refund:

  • The item is unused, unworn and in brand new condition with packaging intact and the original labels attached
  • A copy of your order number (print out is fine) to be included with the return.
  • The item is returned within 7 days of being received by you.

Subject to stock availability, we will exchange items that are returned to us within 7 days of being received by you. Please advise us ASAP upon receipt of your purchase if you wish to exchange. In the case of an exchange, please note that all extra postage costs incurred are payable by you and return of the new item is subject to us receiving the extra postage costs incurred. Once this is received the new item will be posted immediately.

Returns of faulty items will only be accepted if the goods were faulty when delivered to you; Arch + Bear makes great effort to check your purchase thoroughly for any faults before sending them out to you. All items returned as faulty will be inspected on receipt and any items that appear to have been damaged or used by customer will not be accepted as faulty. We will replace a faulty item if a replacement is in stock and available. If you wish to be sent a replacement, please make your request clear when contacting us at about the fault. Returns of faulty goods must be returned to us within 14 days of being received by you. In case we cannot offer you a replacement, you will have the choice of receiving a credit note or a refund to the value of the item at the time of purchase and any shipping costs incurred.

Returns & exchanges received outside the above time frames will not be accepted. For all returns, except where the item is faulty, you will be required to arrange and pay for the return of the products to us. Please be aware that international customs duties and sales taxes are not refunded for shipments outside New Zealand.

We highly recommend sending back with a track and trace number so it won’t get lost in the mail! You are responsible for the goods until they are received safely by Arch + Bear.


How to make a return for exchange or refund please follow the below steps:

  1. Double check that you meet all the conditions listed above.
  2. Contact Arch + Bear on to discuss the return request.
  3. In the email, tell us the new item/s that you want to exchange for and they will be held until we receive your return.
  4. Return the item/s to be exchanged or refunded, marking the confirmation number provided on the package.
  5. Return address will be given at the time of contact about the return.
